The name is part of our Irish connection. The River Slaney runs through the farm where Geraldine was born in County Wicklow and is mentioned in the  song "Among the Wicklow Hills".

This is a en-suite room situated at the front of the house with views over the Lyhner Valley to Caradon Hill on Bodmin Moor and the beautiful surrounding countryside . This room has a double bed and a single bed and there is room to add a further single bed if required. This makes The Slaney an ideal room to be used as a twin, double or family room. Facilities in The Slaney include the following:

Do you remember long ago
When in summer you would stroll
Down where the crystal fountain meets
The Slaney waters flow
Do you recall a young companion
Who talks about you still
And you know who she's waiting for
Among the Wicklow Hills
